On Saturday, my cute friend Shaylee had a baby shower
for her little girl due in February!
Shaylee and I worked together for the Church.
I haven’t seen her since I left my job there. :(
It was so fun to see her childhood home,
meet her family & friends, and celebrate
this cute new little one they are adding to the family!
Shaylee is so humble, positive, and grateful.
It’s very contagious, and whenever I’m around her,
I feel better about life. :)
I’m going to miss her so much!
I can’t wait to meet her little one,
I’ll definitely be making the trip down
to meet this cutie pie.
Love you shay! You’re going to be a great mom!
I had a pretty good weekend.
Spent a lot of it with family & Brady.
On Friday, I went to the mall with my mom and sister, and her boys.
It was pretty fun! We love browsing the mall.
Cooper was my little friend that day.
I love spending time with the boys!!
I also got my gorgeous ring cleaned,
so I of course had to take a photo of it!
I’m excited for Thanksgiving this week,
we’ll be spending time with Brady’s dad & his family.
I am so grateful for my friends.
I love each and every one of them!
I know that I am loved by many,
even when I feel so alone.
I’m going to miss so many of them when I move.
Thank goodness my hometown isn’t tooooo far away! ;)
Also, saying the word “hometown”
makes me feel like I live in the country,
but I don’t.
I’m so happy for Abby! Her wedding day was beautiful! The weather was perfect. A nice chill in the air but the warm sun was out all day!
The sealing was beautiful. I hadn’t been back in the Salt Lake Temple for a sealing since I was sealed there! I love attending sealings. It’s just amazing and so wonderful to be reminded of the promise and covenant that you make. It was a beautiful ceremony and they were surrounded by loved ones!
We took lots and lots of pictures, hugged, and cheered. It was just so much fun! The luncheon was also really great. I only took a photo of the dessert because it was Instagram worthy but then I never posted it to Instagram. LOL we had really yummy food and listened as friends and family stood and shared their memories and thoughts for Hayden and Abby!
After the luncheon, we headed to the reception center to touch-up hair and makeup and then took some more photos before the ring ceremony. Hayden and Abby shared the most beautiful words with each other in front of friends and family. We were all crying. It seriously was the most beautiful thing ever! The party started soon after that and we ate lots of yummy food, danced the night away and mingled with so many others who attended!
It was a great day and Abby told me she loved all of it! Love you pal, so happy for you.
