I’m so glad I get to post about Bear Lake this year!!! Brady’s family goes every year, and when we first started dating I chose getting my braces off over going with him, so I was really bummed. And then the next two years went by and I didn’t go to Bear Lake because Brady wasn’t home and so I finally got to go this summer! We both had to work so we just drove up Friday night and spent the weekend until Sunday morning.
It was cold and rainy when we boated :( Which made me really sad. Brady and I hadn’t been on a boat together since the summer before he left, this exact month actually. It was cold, which meant the water was even colder so I didn’t do any tubing or surfing or any of the fun stuff. I just sat in the boat and enjoyed the scenery and took in all the beauty of the earth :) especially the water. We went back had dinner, watched a movie, talk, said goodbye to Brady’s sister who is moving to college and fell asleep. When we woke in the morning, we hung around for a while and then headed back home. I experienced a lot of anxiety and I just wanted to be at home so I’m glad we left early. It was a fun, beautiful weekend and I wish I could go back more!!! :)
I wish I could live here. It was so nice to get away. I really wish Brady and I could move somewhere. Just somewhere random, far and out of the city. Some place we could escape and learn to love the people of the small town. Someday, I hope we get to experience traveling. Bear lake is beautiful. Even the drive up was beautiful. I want to go back so bad!
